KTC provides Fishing and Milling Services to KOC in collaboration with its technical partner, Al Sahari Oil Services Company (SOSCO), delivering a fully integrated solution across planning, engineering, field operations, quality assurance, and HSE. The scope includes comprehensive well intervention services such as retrieval of stuck or lost downhole equipment, section milling, casing milling, plug and obstruction removal, and wellbore cleanout, all tailored to well conditions and operational challenges, supported by detailed pre-job engineering analysis, tool selection, and technical evaluation.
Operationally, KTC deploys fit-for-purpose fishing and milling tools, specialized equipment, and highly experienced field personnel, supported by structured execution programs encompassing pre-job risk assessments, real-time operational monitoring, and detailed post-job reporting to ensure precision, efficiency, and operational success. Robust quality assurance and control measures are maintained throughout all phases in strict compliance with KOC requirements and international industry standards. All activities are conducted under a stringent HSE management system, emphasizing hazard identification, risk mitigation, personnel safety, and environmental protection, ensuring safe and high-performance fishing and milling operations.
KTC shall execute the 2026 cementing contract with KOC through its technical partner, Moraik Development & Oilfield Services, delivering a fully integrated solution across design, engineering, operations, quality, and HSE. The scope encompasses advanced slurry system design tailored to wellbore conditions, including optimization of rheology, thickening time, fluid loss control, and compressive strength development, supported by laboratory testing and simulation to ensure effective zonal isolation.
Operationally, KTC deploys fit-for-purpose equipment, experienced field crews, and detailed job execution programs, including pre-job risk assessments, real-time monitoring, and post-job evaluation to ensure efficiency and reliability.
Stringent quality assurance and control protocols are applied at all stages in full compliance with KOC requirements and international industry standards. The project execution takes place under a rigorous HSE management system, emphasizing hazard identification, risk mitigation, personnel safety, and environmental protection to ensure safe and high-performance cementing operations.
